ELF PETS®: A FOX CUB’S CHRISTMAS TALE
Christmas is my family’s and I favorite holiday. We love to get in the Christmas spirit with a good movie. So when we were invited to attend a screening for ELF PETS®: A FOX CUB’S CHRISTMAS TALE I didn’t hesitate to say yes. This will be the third special for the Elf Pets which was adapted from the new book Elf Pets: An Arctic Fox Tradition. Being huge fans of Elf on the Shelf brand we knew it was going to be a hit. At the screening, we even had the opportunity to interview the creator herself Chanda Bell. She was as sweet as sugar.
The premise of the story is that every year Noorah, the arctic fox, sparks the Northern lights by smacking her tail against the ground and these lights shield Santa from view and also stops time so he can deliver toys all around the world in one night. The movie then explains lots of what we’ve always wondered about (I won’t spill that part for you guys). The story follows a little boy named Michael whose mother is overseas in the military and is supposed to be home by Christmas The fox is a reminder of hope and to see the bright side of things along with Michaels Grandma. 
I saw that the story captivated the attention of all the kids and adults in the theater. Combined with great animation and super cute songs its will be a hit for your holiday movie night. The movie is about 30 minutes long which to me is great for the younger ones. Highly recommended! I think these specials are an amazing way to expand The Elf on the Shelf world. I hope these DVDs become a yearly tradition because they are cute and deliver the message of hope around the world.
