Last week Instagram blocked users from searching the tag “curvy.” Instagram gave a statement saying “curvy is no longer searchable because it was being used to share images and videos that violated Instagram’s community guidelines around nudity”.
Curvy Women on Instagram protested the ban with hash-tags #BringBackCurvy #EffYourBeautyStandards and #Curvee.
I was one of them. I am proud of being #Curvy
