Whats new at Six Flag?

WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth

WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth is an over-sized pendulum-shaped ride that sends guests on a dizzying journey to extreme heights. Highlights include:

· Massive, 17-story pendulum that swings back and forth;

· 40 riders propelled in counterclockwise circles as the ride swings continuously;

· Speeds of nearly 75 miles per hour;

· Riders experience feelings of weightlessness at 172 feet in the air; and

· Floorless seats that leave riders’ feet dangling as they whirl through the air.

The first-ever roller coaster wrapped in hand prints to support cancer awareness and celebrate survivorship.  Colorful hand prints previously collected from cancer survivors and supporters were transferred onto the Runaway Mine Train coaster cars.  The coaster will remain wrapped through the close of the park in winter 2019. Cancer prevention elements throughout the park, including the main entrance water fountain, also will be a part of the awareness campaign at Six Flags for the remainder of the season.

Superhero Glow Run – August 17

Six Flags will host a Superhero fun run August 17 throughout the park at when the sun goes down. Wearing a DC Super Hero cape, participants will have the opportunity to glow as they get covered in UV glow powder. This event is free for any active Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond and Diamond Elite Member. Registration is required for free event admission, as Members can visit Member Portal to register today under general benefits. Regular Membership, Gold Membership, Season Pass holders and any guest holding any other type of theme park admission must purchase an event ticket to remain in the park for the event. Tickets must be purchased by August 16. Theme park and event admission will be $60.00 plus tax per person, Season Pass holders will pay $25.00 plus tax per person. The Great Coaster Race – August 18

Coaster enthusiasts and guests alike can celebrate National Roller Coaster Weekend with a special 5k and 10k coaster race August 18. Participants in the Great Coaster Race will soar through the race based on roller coaster track distance while raising money to support a great cause. 2020 New Attraction Announcement – August 29

Stay tuned as Six Flags Great Adventure announces its highly-anticipated new attraction for 2020. After months of rumor and speculation, the legendary and monstrous details will be revealed at 5 a.m. via its website and social media. The world record-breaking project is slated to open next summer.
