I am so excited to share with you guys what’s new at Six Flags. I’m extra excited to let you know about the Jersey Devil Roller Coaster. Looks can be deceiving with this coater. I felt as if my soul came out of my body. If you are looking for a seriously thrilling rollercoaster The Jersey Devil Coaster is a must.

RIDE DETAILS:

· Elaborately-themed entrance portal, and queue that features informative storyboards on the Jersey Devil’s origin;

· Four sleek trains of 12 passengers each sitting low and inline style (one rider per row) with their legs straddling either side of the monorail track;

· 3,000 feet of soaring, single-rail, I-beam track;

· Tension-building ascent up a towering, 130-foot lift hill;

· Flying at speeds up to 58 mph;

· Intense elements including a steep, 87-degree first drop and overbanked cutback; and

· Three dramatic inversions including a 180-degree stall, raven dive, and zero-gravity roll.

 

Want a day of relaxing and cool off head over to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, one of the Northeast’s largest and most tropically-themed waterparks, This windswept paradise is located next to Six Flags Great Adventure & Wild Safari. Hurricane Harbor features more than 30 thrill slides including Big Wave Racer, Tornado and Juhranimo Falls, a massive, million-gallon wave pool, half-mile lazy river and two interactive, family water play areas. Hurricane Harbor’s newest addition, Calypso Springs, features a refreshing, 100,000-gallon family activity pool, giant deck for relaxing and sunbathing, and quick service dining.

Hurricane Harbor’s safety measures, which the company developed in consultation with epidemiologists, meets or exceeds federal, state, and local guidelines for sanitization, hygiene, and social distancing protocols. Masks are required. Advance ticket purchase and reservations manage attendance and stagger arrivals. Other newer technologies include:

State-of-the-art thermal imaging for temperature checks;
Advanced security screening technology for touchless bag checks;
Mobile- and card-only payments with free, cash-to-card conversion; and
Mobile food ordering on the Six Flags app.

As part of Six Flags’ comprehensive safety procedures, all employees are required to wear masks and are temperature-checked and health-screened each day. Gloves are worn as appropriate, per guidelines.
